Primary 4, 5 and 6 pupils were excited to welcome local author Declan Carville to St Mary’s on Monday. Drawing inspiration from local culture and Irish heritage, Mr Carville engaged the children, who were excited to recognise familiar places within his stories. The workshop offered plenty of opportunities to ask questions, share experiences and even pick up some “Top Tips for Writing.” It was an enjoyable and enriching session for everyone involved.
