Well done to all the boys who took part in the St. Colman’s College 7-Aside Gaelic Blitz today! The team did St. Mary’s proud with their great attitude, teamwork, and effort from start to finish. They played some brilliant football throughout the morning, showing real determination and skill in every match.
The boys worked hard and made it all the way to the semi-final of The Shield, where they were narrowly beaten by a strong St. Mary’s Barr team. Even though they didn’t make the final, they can be really proud of how they played and how well they supported each other.
A special shout-out goes to Aidan, who was picked out during the day for his sportsmanship and tenacity. He was rewarded with a new pair of gloves—well done, Aidan!
Thanks to St. Colman’s for organising such a fun and well-run event. It was a great morning of football, and our boys represented the school brilliantly both on and off the pitch.
