A big surprise for Jane and Chloe at today’s Assembly when Mark from NIEA ( Northern Ireland Environment Agency) visited St. Mary’s to present them with a Galaxy Tab A9! Jane and Chloe had taken part in a quiz at Balmoral Show and won!! Mark, Jack and Leah from NIEA ( Northern Ireland Environment Agency) kindly distributed pencils/pens to all the children and information sheets about safety when visiting lakes/rivers. They also carried out a demonstration testing the quality of water before and after milk was added. Chloe and Lucas were very willing helpers! Lucas was demonstrating the safety required from NIEA staff when visiting water sites .. a very informative visit thank you!
