Congratulations to the children who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday. We were all so proud of them. They carried out their roles in a very prayerful manner and all looked wonderful! Thank you to Mr. Gribben for preparing the children so well for this very special day. Thank you to the choir who sang beautifully, prepared by Mr. Donnan and assisted by Mrs. Eileen Mooney and her sister Winifred. Thanks also to Mrs. McAlinden and Miss O'Neill for preparing the booklets. Thank you to Fr. Charles for the beautiful service, assisted by Deacon Gerry. Our thanks also to the Drumgath Pastoral Council for the candles presented to the children. The children, families and staff were very appreciative of the refreshments afterwards, organised by St. Mary's Parent Support Group. Lastly, thank you to the parents of the children for their support.
